Meet Your Therapist
I created Ember & Bloom Counseling to be a place where you are met with support, understanding, and space to slow down. My goal is to offer a steady, compassionate environment where you can sort through what you’ve been carrying, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded and lasting.
Starting therapy is a big step, and feeling comfortable in the process matters. I approach this work with warmth, respect, and care, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re coming in with something specific or with just a sense that something isn’t quite right, we’ll work together to help you feel more clear, steady, and supported as you move forward.
My Path To This Work
I've known since I was twelve years old that I was meant for this work. At the time, I had started acting out, and my parents felt it was the right moment for me to begin processing my adoption. The first therapist I saw was completely dismissive; he brushed aside what I was going through and left me feeling invisible in my own life.
Everything changed when I finally met a therapist who offered a listening ear and genuine validation. That experience defined my purpose. I realized then how much it matters to be truly seen and heard by the person sitting across from you. I do this work to ensure no one has to navigate their story feeling unheard, and to provide a space where your experiences are actually respected.
A Little More About Me
I am Christa Jones, MS, LPC, NCC, CCTP-II. Based and licensed in Colorado, I also serve clients across Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Texas. My focus is on providing evidence-based care to help you navigate life's toughest obstacles. I combine extensive training with a warm, direct style to provide a space where clinical expertise and honest engagement meet to support your progress and resilience.
When I'm not in the office, I'm usually kickboxing, playing fetch with my dogs, or getting lost in a game or a puzzle. I have an 11-year-old Golden-Lab and a 2-year-old Pit Bull and they are everything!
My Therapy Philosophy
A Space For Healing
Everyone has the resilience needed for significant change; life just has a way of burying it under layers of stress and survival. Therapy should be a place where you can safely look at the hard things without being judged or dismissed. I am a steady advocate for my clients, especially in the moments when you aren’t sure how to advocate for yourself.
The Goal
What begins in therapy often grows into something larger: a stronger sense of self, more trust in your own voice, and the ability to move through life with greater clarity. Over time, this work can help you respond instead of react, understand your patterns more clearly, and create change that feels steady, meaningful, and your own.
